Data save procedures

1. DIAGNOSTICS

Defective media diagnostics will determine the defect, the time required and the price for recovering the required data. You will be informed about the result of the diagnosis by calling on the phone number of your choice within two hours from submission of the medium for diagnosis. (diagnostics within 2 hours only when handed over at the headquarters)

2. DATA RECOVERY

We will rescue your data immediately after agreeing on the price and the time needed to save them. If the set time is too long for you, you have the opportunity to choose one of our express-fast options. If time does not matter to you and it is more of a price, we have the EcoHelp mode ready for you. If you do not select the execution mode, the order is executed in DATAHELP mode by default.

3. CHECKING SAVED DATA

After successful data recovery, you have the option to check the data before copying it to new media. We will send you a File list to e-mail address of your choice, where you can check whether the data we have saved is the one you want.

4. COPYING

After checking and possible selection of data, it will be copied to the data medium of your choice. CDs and DVDs are provided free of charge in two pieces. It is also possible to lend you a media (for a financial deposit) or to download data from our FTP server.

5. DATA TRANSMISSION

We will inform you by phone or e-mail about the end of data recovery. Depending on your choice, you will be able to pick up the recovered data in person or it will be sent to the specified shipping address.

6. PAYMENT ONLY IN CASE OF SUCCESSFUL DATA RECOVERY.

DATA RECOVERY - SUCCESS DEPENDS ON THE CAUSE OF DATA LOSS

However, data loss from damaged media may not be definitive, a well-executed recovery is likely to succeed in the event of early intervention. There can be several causes of malfunction:

  • Physical damage (defective sectors on the disc, seized bearings, damage to the disc plates, electric shock damage,
  • Software causes that often involve file system corruption, operating system crashes, or virus infection.

But there are many more causes, each failure is unique in its own way and is preceded by various damage. Early detection of media failures and choosing the right course of action will significantly increase your chances of success.
